AIM Centre Announced as Partner Hub for National AI Challenge 2025

We’re delighted to announce that AIM Centre has been selected as a Partner Hub for this year’s National AI Challenge 2025, Ireland’s premier AI innovation sprint. This national initiative is designed to empower developers, analysts, entrepreneurs and AI enthusiasts to come together, collaborate, and build impactful, real-world AI solutions.

In Partnership for a Stronger AI Ecosystem

This year's Challenge is powered through strategic collaboration with key players in Ireland’s innovation ecosystem, including Ireland's European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH) Network, Data2Sustain, TechIreland, and Enterprise Ireland. As a Partner Hub, AIM Centre will be actively involved in outreach, mentoring, and supporting Challenge teams to ideate, develop and present their AI solutions.

What is the National AI Challenge?

The National AI Challenge 2025 is more than a hackathon. It's a two-week innovation sprint designed to inspire interdisciplinary teams to tackle industry-submitted problem statements using AI, machine learning, and agentic workflows. The goal? Build something that truly matters - ethically, responsibly, and with purpose.

The Challenge is grounded in the values of Ireland’s AI Strategy – ‘AI Here for Good’, and encourages human-centred, trustworthy AI development for public services, industry and society at large.

Why Get Involved?

The Challenge is open to a broad spectrum of participants - from software developers, data analysts, and LLM users, to tech entrepreneurs, UX designers, and anyone with business strategy or presentation expertise. Team up with others who complement your skill set and solve real challenges that are impacting industries in Ireland today.

Whether you're already building with AI or looking to sharpen your innovation skills, this is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience and receive mentorship from some of the best minds in tech.
