AIM Centre Hosts Eyedea MedTech Workshop in Sligo | Industry Training Ireland

We were delighted to welcome Eyedea MedTech Education to the AIM Centre recently for a highly engaging and insightful workshop, delivered in one of Ireland’s most advanced environments for innovation, collaboration, and medtech training in Ireland.

At the AIM Centre, we provide a unique space where cutting-edge technologies come together to support manufacturing training in Ireland, skills development, and real-world industry application. As the home of the National AI Studio for Manufacturing, we are committed to delivering impactful AI in manufacturing training and supporting companies on their digital transformation journey.

Eyedea’s workshop brought together professionals from across the medtech and engineering ecosystem to explore key concepts through interactive discussion and practical insight. Sessions like this play a key role in continuous professional development for manufacturing and medtech professionals, enabling participants to stay at the forefront of industry innovation.

What stood out most was the openness and quality of conversation in the room - with participants actively exchanging ideas, challenges, and perspectives. This type of collaboration reflects the value of Industry 4.0 training in Ireland, where cross-company engagement drives new thinking and unlocks opportunities for growth and innovation across the sector.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Damian Carr and the Eyedea team for delivering such a valuable session, and for contributing to the growing ecosystem of advanced manufacturing in Ireland.

We are also grateful to the companies and organisations who participated, including Precipart, Lawrence Engineering, ATU Sligo, Arrotek, and others. Your commitment to ongoing learning and engagement in engineering training programmes in Ireland is what makes initiatives like this so impactful.

As part of our ongoing mission, the AIM Centre continues to expand its offering of training programmes for manufacturing and medtech professionals in Ireland. Through our facilities, expertise, and industry partnerships, we support organisations in adopting advanced technologies, building capability, and accelerating innovation.

We look forward to continuing our collaboration with partners like Eyedea and to hosting more AI, robotics, and digital transformation training for industry, helping to strengthen Ireland’s position as a global leader in medtech and advanced manufacturing.
