AIM Centre Hosts National AI Challenge 2025

Last Friday, AIM Centre was buzzing with energy as we proudly hosted the regional round of the National AI Challenge. Five outstanding teams travelled to AIM Centre to pitch their innovative projects to our expert judging panel, and the day truly exceeded expectations.

Celebrating Innovation and Expertise

The feedback from our judges was unanimous: the technical expertise, creativity, and forward-thinking solutions presented by each team were remarkable. Every pitch reflected months of dedication and hard work, and it was inspiring to witness such talent and ambition gathered under one roof.

Congratulations to the Advancing Teams

We are thrilled to share that two teams have been selected to progress to the National AI Challenge finals in Galway on 18th September:

• HandSpeakAI

• MedicSage

This is a huge achievement, with both teams securing places among the top 15 projects nationally. We couldn’t be prouder of their accomplishment and can’t wait to see them shine on the national stage.
