Celebrating Excellence: AIM CEO Julie Dowling Wins Organisational Leadership Award 2025

We’re delighted to share that our CEO, Julie Dowling, was honoured with the Excellence in Organisational Leadership Award 2025 at the itag Awards, held in the Salthill Hotel, Galway.

This award recognises outstanding leadership in driving organisational success and innovation—and Julie’s impact could not be more deserving of the spotlight. Since establishing AIM, Julie has led with vision, purpose, and a deep commitment to advancing Ireland’s manufacturing sector.

Under her leadership, AIM has launched groundbreaking initiatives such as the National AI Studio for Manufacturing, which secured €1M in funding to support SME adoption of digital and AI technologies. Julie has also spearheaded strategic projects like Robodemo, Arctic Edge, and ASTRIC, securing an additional €1.6M in funding to accelerate innovation across the sector.

Beyond funding and projects, Julie has built a high-performing team and a thriving culture of collaboration, innovation, and impact—laying a strong foundation for AIM’s continued growth and influence. Her work in policy engagement and international partnerships continues to position Ireland as a leader in smart manufacturing.
