The AIM Centre Welcomes Partners for Successful RoboDemo Project Discussions

Last week, the AIM Centre had the pleasure of welcoming partners from Centria University in Finland and UIT The Arctic University in Norway to Sligo, Ireland. The purpose of their visit was to discuss ongoing and upcoming RoboDemo projects, project communications, and cross-country collaborations.

RoboDemois an initiative that provides manufacturing businesses with the information they need to make informed investments in smart manufacturing. The project is funded by the Interreg Northern Periphery and Arctic programme, with €348,000 earmarked for Ireland. AIM's industry-experienced engineers and business strategists are available to work with eligible Irish manufacturing organisations free of charge, providing expert advice on implementing robotics and smart manufacturing into their operations.

The project aims to provide businesses with a detailed understanding of the investment costs, the return on investment timeline, and business value levers such as efficiencies, improved quality control, and increased product output. This knowledge will empower businesses to make informed investment decisions that will enhance their competitiveness and profitability.

The recent meeting between AIM and the RoboDemo project partners was highly successful, with productive discussions held on the development of the initiative. AIM is delighted to be a part of this crucial project, providing valuable advice and support to eligible businesses in Ireland.
